Consultancy
Consultancy or a strategic approach helps to define the direction an organisation wishes to go. We will, in our initial meeting discuss the driver behind the decision, the impact on the organisation, what, if anything is already in place and the desired outcomes. A multi layered approach is often required and together we co-create the duration and delivery method.Â
How does it work?
Â
- We will arrange an initial discussion, in person is preferably, alternatively via Zoom or Team to gain an understanding of the driver for the request, the target audience and identify how this fits in the bigger picture.
- We will discuss your outcomes and any previous interventions implemented.
- Then together we will co-create a solution taking into account the various modalities.
As an example, you may wish to develop your people managers as the staff survey has identified this as an area for improvement. Your current training for new managers is in place and works well, yet there is a lack of implementation of people skills within the workplace.
You may wish to ensure the fundamentals are in place as a people manager before attending the in house training. The solution in this example is providing a foundation modular programme -Â Unlock The Leader Within together with 1:1/group coaching over a 3 month period.
Emotional Intelligence
Curious about Emotional Intelligence (EQ)?
Â
As a leader or people manager, understanding your own Emotional Intelligence (EI) and how others see you is fundamental in your role and as you progress in your career.
EI is being able to get along with others, to communicate clearly and with empathy and be able to understand and express personal feelings. It has been previously reported the two main competencies missing in leadership and management are Self Awareness and Communication.
“Developing (global) leaders with cultural sensitivities and collaborative skills requires greater focus on emotional intelligence, self awareness and empowerment than on traditional management skills” - Professor Bill George, Harvard Business School
